Are you new to sewing? All 3 of these books are worth having on your book shelf.  Super cute illustrations by Beci Orpin, and  all you need to know about sewing written with the modern sewer in mind.  They show you how to make and also ideas to alter the patterns. The books are full of helpful information on everything from determining proper machine tension to using the correct presser foot, seam finishes to sewing buttons.

It hasn‘t been updated for a while but there is a flickr group you can join and show off your kick ass wendy mullins garments made from the awesome built by you patterns from simplicity, or from the books.

Would you be interested in attending learning to sew classes at Mulgrave?  Let us know!
