I found out about this book, The Happiness Project a few weeks ago. I have yet to have it in my hands but I like what I have seen so far. The author spent a year test-driving the wisdom of the ages, current scientific studies, and lessons from popular culture about how to be happier. She wrote this book as a result.
Four Splendid Truths taken from The Happiness Project:

#1 To be happier, you have to think about feeling good, feeling bad, and feeling right, in an atmosphere of growth.
#2 One of the best ways to make yourself happy is to make other people happy; One of the best ways to make other people happy is to be happy yourself.
#3 The days are long, but the years are short
#4 You‘re not happy unless you think you‘re happy.

I wrote about this gorgeous magazine a while ago and the newest issue of Mollie Makes is out now, I bought my electronic copy here.

Through reading the ever-resourceful Whipup I have discovered Nuno Magazine and it is jam packed with wicked crafty ideas and it is made with love, not for money! The current issue is 116 ad-free pages of eco-friendly craft, sewing, knitting and crochet projects inspired by the American Southwest.

I also received my copy of the latest FatQuaterly, which I just devour the instant I can - Issue 6 looks at fabrics other than 100% quilting cotton and how to use them in your sewing projects.

Don‘t forget we have TWO workshops coming up:
Creative Journaling & Merchandising
These are fun, informative & inspirational workshops run by professionals to get your creative juices flowing, a really good investment I say!
