Peter Foley, frustrated at the lack of quality music venues south of the river, started staging gigs at his Oakleigh home 4 years ago. He then moved to the Oakleigh Bowling Club.  In late 2009 the Oakleigh/Carnegie RSL down the road had recently removed its poker machines and was looking to develop a social music culture. It has a lovely old hall that opens out on to a terrific beer garden.

This is now the home of THE CARAVAN MUSIC CLUB.

My husband and I and our little girls are all off to see Uncle Bill Sunday arvo Sep 25, $12 a ticket and the kids are free!!  It doesn‘t get much better than that!
