Online Crafty Resources to make

I came across Gerties New Blog for Better Sewing a while ago.  She is the cutest thing.  A sewing enthusiast in Queens, New York, with a love of all things retro. Her site has tutorials, tips, inspiration, and lots of spirited discussion about sewing as it relates to fashion history, pop culture, body image, and gender. Gertie was initially inspired by Vogues Book For Better Sewing, and she shares her sewing journey with us.  You can even do an onlie course with Gertie.  She teaches you how to make a "bombshell" dress - I‘m thinking I may just do that!

So from Gerties blog I found this site, Craftsy.

Craftsy is a community of people who love to make things - learning from, inspiring and helping one another.

Craftsy offers online courses about all of your favorite crafty topics – taught by amazing instructors. Craftsy courses are online, so they are available to you anytime you want for as long as you want – they have no scheduled class times, so you can enjoy them entirely on your own schedule.

You can also upload your own projects.

Looking for inspiration? Browse through projects shared by other Craftsy folks.  Proud of something you just finished? Share your project with the community.  Stuck on something? Ask the Craftsy community for ideas or advice.

There are some cool things on this site and some that do not appeal to me at all.  In saying that I feel that this site would appeal to most crafty peeps, check it.
