Are you happy?

What makes you happy? What I‘ve learnt in my short time here on earth is that the more I get, does not actually equate to my happiness. I subscribe to Gretchen Rubin‘s enewsletter and today‘s saying echoed my thoughts:

"To be without some of the things you want is an indispensable part of happiness."
-Bertrand Russell

I had book marked this interesting article a few weeks ago telling us what we should let go of in order to be happy. Here are a few of the suggestions:

GIVE UP YOUR SELF-DEFEATING SELF-TALK
GIVE UP YOUR NEED TO ALWAYS BE RIGHT
GIVE UP YOUR RESISTANCE TO CHANGE

And while I agree on all of these things, I feel I can get bombarded by what I need to do and then I don‘t know where to start. So I‘ll leave you with this to think about, When I am feeling disconnected I need to look inside - for anything outside me is not where the problem is.
