Are you on Pinterest yet?  I‘ve been looking back over my Quilt Inspiration board and noticed a lot of geometric shapes appearing in the bulk of my pins.   Have a look at some of these beauties:

A geometric shape is a shape with hard edges like squares and rectangles and triangles.  It has sent me on a path of collaborating with a friend and fellow quilter to make a sample quilt.  To research all different block patterns and come up with something of my own.  To see a piece of art and work out how I can make it into a quilt, fun, fun, fun!

One of my findings was this great little site that you can print out graph paper to your own measurements, have a look around the site - it will make designing your own quilts that little bit easier.
